The University of South Carolina Wind Ensemble, the premiere wind band at the university, is presenting a free community concert at the brand-new Lexington School District 2 Performing Arts Center in West Columbia. In addition to works performed earlier in the semester, the Wind Ensemble will premiere Leslie Gilreath’s “Leave No Doubt,” composed in memory of USC alumnus and South Carolina high school band director Bryan Bone, with the composer conducting. The concert will conclude with well-known classics by Leonard Bernstein and Sergei Prokofiev.
